The aim of the meeting is to gather dam experts from a wider region, to upgrade their technical knowledge, communication, and mutual understanding. An especially warm invitation is directed towards Slovenian professionals of all profiles who want to get a better insight into dam engineering practice of Slovenia and of some other EU countries. 20 papers have been received so far and the following keynote lectures have been confirmed:

Official language of the Symposium will be English. The Symposium will be held on Wednesday, 16th October 2013 in Plaza Hotel Ljubljana, which is a modern 4-star arrangement at the outskirt of Ljubljana, adjacent to the shopping and leisure district of BTC City of Ljubljana.
